New Maxwell 125V Module Now Available from YEG
Young Electronics Group are pleased to announce the availability of the new HTM125 125 volt ultracapacitor module from Maxwell Technologies Inc. for use in heavy transportation such as busses and lorries for regenerative braking, torque assist, acceleration assist and engine start
The BDMOD0063-P125 (HTM125) module is based on the 2.7V Boostcap® BCAP3000 Power cells and incorporates proprietary balancing, monitoring and thermal management capabilities (via PT100 temperature sensor) to ensure industry-leading charge/discharge performance, high reliability and long operational life.
The HTM 125 meets or exceeds transportation industry requirements for watt-hours of energy storage and watts of power delivery per kg, and is designed to perform reliably through one million or more deep charge/discharge cycles which equates to more than 15 years of operational life. The module is sealed from exposure to the elements by being compliant with the IP65 requirements as detailed in the IEC standards and utilises proprietary material science and packaging technology in its construction.
